Privacy Policy
BeyondSticker is intentionally designed to collect as little personal information as possible.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Calculator data
The calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to BeyondSticker's application server for the current free calculator. When you generate the test Buyer Report, those inputs are temporarily placed in your browser's session storage so the report page can use them. They are not placed in the report URL.
Optional VIN lookup
If you choose to enter a VIN in the Buyer Report, the VIN is sent to BeyondSticker's vehicle-report endpoint and then used to query public NHTSA vehicle, recall, and complaint services. BeyondSticker does not intentionally persist the VIN to a database. The VIN and returned report may be kept temporarily in your browser's session storage so you do not have to repeat the lookup in the same browser session.
Technical information
Our hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs. We use Netlify to host the site.
First-party analytics
BeyondSticker uses limited first-party analytics to understand whether the product is working and where visitors stop in the purchase funnel. The analytics system records an event name, the page path, a random per-browser-tab session identifier, timestamp, and—when present—UTM source, medium, and campaign values. The random identifier is stored in browser session storage and is not designed to identify you across browser sessions.
The analytics event store does not intentionally record VINs, calculator inputs such as income or vehicle price, email addresses, card information, names, or IP addresses. Netlify may separately process ordinary request information in hosting/security logs as described above. Analytics events are stored in Netlify Blobs and are configured for approximately 90-day retention. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking in the current build.
Stripe test checkout
V0.9 can connect to Stripe in test mode so we can test the planned $7.99 Premium Buyer Report checkout without moving real money. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, so test card details are entered on Stripe's page rather than sent through BeyondSticker's application server. Stripe may process the information entered on its hosted checkout page under Stripe's own privacy terms.
After Stripe verifies a successful test Checkout Session, BeyondSticker places a temporary HttpOnly browser cookie containing the test Checkout Session identifier so the premium report can be unlocked. V0.9 does not create a customer account or persist a paid entitlement in a BeyondSticker database.
Data sales
We do not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security and retention
We follow a data-minimization approach: do not collect information unless the product needs it, limit access, use HTTPS, maintain security headers, and keep dependencies updated. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If the product begins collecting accounts, email addresses, persistent cross-session analytics identifiers, persistently stored VIN-linked records, live payment information, or persistent purchase records, this notice will be revised before or when those features launch.
